Since 1896, Dugdale Bros & Co have put people, place and process at the heart of everything we do. We’ve been flying the flag for British craft for 128 years.

With our rich and unique textile heritage, Yorkshire is renowned for producing some of the world’s finest and most sought-after cloth. Our Huddersfield production partners are the most skilled craftspeople in the trade. Their knowledge is handed down from the generations of spinners, weavers and finishers that went before them.

It’s only by working so closely with these partners that we can ensure the very best quality of cloth is available to our discerning customers.

We insist on the very best. That’s why our worsted and woollen production processes remain in the same trusted hands as they have for over a century. And that’s what makes our cloth so special.

We utilise a select cadre of expert suppliers – spinners, weavers, finishers – in the local area, many of whom are situated within ten miles of our headquarters. This unique relationship with our suppliers ensures that we can maintain the strictest quality control and deliver exceptionally well-made cloths.

Our process is a combination of traditional techniques and cutting-edge modern technology. Every cloth in our wide-ranging collection is unique this means it requires the proper careful steps in order to ensure it’s the best it can be. Whether it’s a handwoven special edition tweed, a lightweight linen or the finest mohair barathea, we know how to make it best.
