  In the town of Huddersfield, many hands make light work. For centuries generations of spinners, weavers and finishers have combined to produce the world’s finest worsteds and woollens, here in the heart of cloth country. No one does it better.

  We are proud to present our customers with an immense diversity of formal cloths from original topped baratheas to super-fine summer kid mohair. Also included is a wide selection of colourful vestings and original light and dark striped trouserings complemented by heritage herringbone, twill and grey picked coatings.

  Every cloth in our wide-ranging collection is unique. This means it requires the proper careful steps in order to ensure it’s the best it can be. Whether it’s a handwoven special edition tweed, a lightweight linen or the finest mohair barathea, we know how to make it best.

  We utilise a select cadre of expert suppliers – spinners, weavers, finishers – in the local area, many of whom are situated within ten miles of our headquarters.
